Pre-order a 30mlIt's time to develop our future 30ml bottle, help us make this new case for your perfume!
A little over a year ago, we launched our collection of five pairs of perfumes in a unique 100ml format in our boutique on rue Houdon.
Encouraged by the reception given to the brand, we feel that it is time to address a wider audience by offering you two different formats. We have therefore looked, with our partner Waltersperger, at the plans for the 100ml format in order to adapt it to a capacity of 30ml.
The designs are already done, all that remains is to launch the production of our new bottles for you and thanks to you
Founded in 1916, Waltersperger was the first glassmaker to install semi-automatic machines, thus allowing the manufacture of glassware and crystalware to enter a new era.
Today, Waltersperger embodies know-how and quality, a true benchmark in the glassmaking tradition of the Bresle Valley, in Upper Normandy, and it is for this reason that we have chosen to work with them.
What will this pre-sale be used for?
If we are offering you this pre-sale today, it is because we want to create a new 30ml bottle.
As we manufacture in France and we are very attached to the idea of perpetuating Waltersperger's age-old know-how, the creation of this new bottle has a very high cost of €45,000. We do not have this amount in our treasury, so it is this pre-sale that will finance their manufacture. In the event that we do not wait for this amount, we will take out a loan from our bank. Production will be launched regardless!
We have an ambitious project because we do not want to compromise on the quality of the bottle and the choice of our suppliers.
What happens if we exceed the target?
We have many ideas for our brand, you won't be disappointed!
Although we no longer rely on crowdfunding to launch the production of our new 30ml bottle, we still wanted to set a goal of 500 pre-sales. Beyond encouraging us on a daily basis, this goal also allows us to unlock or not the next levels of the history of Abstraction Paris (see pyramid).
Questions about pre-sale
Can I give this pre-order as a gift?
Yes, in this case, let us know by email at contact@abstractionparis.com and you will also receive a customizable gift bag with our logo.
What happens once I pre-order?
You will receive at home:
- a discovery case with a retail value of €50, which contains a trial dose (3ml with pump) of each perfume in the collection. This allows you to take the time to try them all before choosing the one you will acquire with the gift card.
- a leaflet with the stories behind each pair of perfumes, a few words about the perfumers and information about the brand. This leaflet allows you to better understand how the brand was created and the perfumes imagined. This will help you choose your perfume.
- a gift card worth €90 which will allow you, once the bottles are manufactured (summer 2024), to collect your perfume in store or order it on our website.
Why is the cardboard of my discovery case getting damaged?
In order to respect our environment, we have chosen not to use plastic in our packaging.
This is why the discovery case is made entirely of cardboard, without lamination and it tears slightly at the fold.
As this case is intended to allow you to try the perfumes and is not intended to be kept beyond this period, we did not want to use plastic unnecessarily.
What is Abstraction Paris?
The name of the brand ABSTRACTION refers to a moment that we share with someone we are very close to. At that precise moment, we are so absorbed by the other that we "ABSTRACTION" the rest. Sébastien Plan, creator of the brand, invited four of his best friends, also perfumers, to join him: Alexandra Carlin, Alex Lee, Amélie Jacquin and Mylène Alran. They were inspired by this emotion to each create a pair of perfumes, in the sense that the two perfumes represent the two people caught up in the moment. The only instruction was that the two perfumes, within a couple, had to respond to each other olfactorily.
